Deficiencies?

Hi everyone. I have some issues going on that I need some help with. Only my third grow, so not real knowledgeable on reading the leaves. This is re-ammended soil, so maybe I didn't add enough of something? I tested the soil ph on 2 of the plants, and I will include that with the corresponding pictures. I have given them cal mag and the Morbloom 10-10 the last couple feedings. Not sure what else I should add as far as info. 20240602_073502.jpg
Ph 5.9, in veg

Ph 6.1, 2 weeks into flower

Ph not tested, in veg

The leaves are dry and crispy on the end. My temps and humidity are in range for the stage each of them are in. And it's also only showing on the 2 lowest fan leaves on each plant. Thanks for any feedback you can provide.

ph sounds fine.
Those are burns, not deficiencies. Toxicities (over fert) will affect leaf edges...deficiencies will affect the middle of the leaves. I'd guess your soil is a little hot. Since it seems to only be affecting the lowest leaves, it doesn't appear to be severe. As the plants get bigger, they will be more able to handle a little excess ferts. I'd just keep monitoring them, see how fast it progresses. If it's slow or not at all, then I wouldn't think you have anything to worry aboot...they should grow out of it. If it starts progressing into the newer growth, then it could be a problem...but I'm not sure what you could do aboot it, because organic amendments are very hard to flush out of the soil. :dazed053:

Thanks Bob. I'll just give them water for a few feedings then.

Gang, I am in flower week 3 getting rust color on leaves, I use advanced Nutieiants Grow micro and bloom

Agree w/bob. If it were calcium deficiency you would be seeing it in younger leaves. Reamending soil could probably be tricky, o havent done it yet so cant really comment either way

Love this graph, great visual on the nutrients!
Its pretty handy. Im not sure if its 100% accurate, as the plant definitely needs more micros in veg, especially magnesium, because as we all know its entirely possible to run into all kinds of deficiencies in veg too. This graph does illustrate the importance of required nutrients in flower, which helps newer growers narrow it down.

Im starting to look into the importance of ratios/antagonisms. Thats a whole different can of worms
