Speak for yourself, not all members. Not everyone desires to follow a leader. It's a mistake to assume everyone has the same mentality as you.

You expect your leader to live up to whatever expectations you create in your head, some ideal image you form, and when that doesn't happen you criticize them, and there is nothing unusual about that in the leader/follower dynamic. But consider letting him be as he is, accepting him, instead of self-centered thinking of what you want him to be for your personal satisfaction.

Youre not as special as you want to feel. You're not living there, just more like a bad film thats running in the background we all pass by where you have to laugh at how bad it is.

Since its lost on you, when you drop the herd mentality, the conflict is gone. The conflict between leader and follower is dissolved and can be replaced with acceptance between two human beings. It's unfortunately common for you or any person to be that old and not understand anything beyond an unconscious life of following and imitating. Then feeling the desire to speak for everyone because you are so great, nobody possibly could know better. But nervous laughter helps. Try an emoji.
